Applications for our joint Highbury Grove and Islington sixth form are welcomed from all students who either currently attend Highbury Grove or Islington and wish to continue their education with us, or from those students attending another secondary school and wish to benefit from our broad sixth form offer and facilities.
In the event of over-subscription on a particular subject or course, priority is given to internal students who meet the entry criteria and are from COLA Highbury Grove or COLA Islington.
All students applying to join our sixth form are advised to consult with their tutor, Head of Year, Careers Advisor and/or member of staff responsible for Year 11 destinations.
Admission criteria
All offers of a place will be made on condition of applicants meeting the following entry requirements:
- achieve the minimum grade entry requirements
- meet specific subject requirements
- receipt of a completed application form
- satisfactory completion of Year 11
- attendance at enrolment and induction events
- receipt of latest school report confirming suitability for subjects and level (external applicants)
