The performance measures below relate to students who completed their GCSEs in the summer of 2025.
Progress 8 score
The DfE was not able to calculate Progress 8 scores for academic years 2024/25 and 2025/26. This is because there was no KS2 assessment data available to calculate the baseline for Progress 8 for these years due to Covid-19 disruption.
Attainment 8
Schools get a score based on how well pupils have performed in up to 8 qualifications.
This score is based on up to 8 qualifications including English, maths, three English Baccalaureate qualifications including sciences, computer science, history, geography and languages, and three other additional approved qualifications.
Our Attainment 8 score for 2025 is 45.3.
Grade 5 or above in English and maths GCSEs
The percentage of pupils who achieved grade 5 or above in English and maths GCSEs combined.
GCSEs are graded 1 (low) to 9 (high). Grade 5 is a similar level of achievement to a high grade C or low grade B in the old grading.
In 2025, 44.2% of pupils achieved grade 5 or above in English and maths.
EBacc average point score (APS)
The EBacc average points score calculates a pupil’s average point scores across the five pillars of the English Baccalaureate.
Our pupils’ average EBacc points score for 2025 is 4.15.
Staying in education or entering employment
This shows the number of pupils who either stayed in education or went into employment after finishing key stage 4 (after year 11, usually aged 16).
GCSEs are graded 1 (low) to 9 (high). Grade 5 is a similar level of achievement to a high grade C or low grade B in the old grading.
88% of our pupils were reported to have continued into education or employment.
