All students in Years 8–13 have at least six encounters with providers of technical education and apprenticeships, in line with Section 42B of the Education Act 1997 (the Baker Clause). These routes are presented as equally valuable alongside A levels and university.
Students find out about the full range of education and training options through:
- Careers, apprenticeship and T Level fairs
- Assemblies and visiting speakers
- Options evenings in Years 9 and 11
- A progression week in Year 12
