Year 8 Explore Sculpture in the City
Published: Thu 9 October 2025Our Year 8 students have been exploring the inspiring world of 3D artists and designers. To bring their learning to life, they took part in an exciting two-day trip to Sculpture in the City – a fantastic public art exhibition set among the iconic architecture of Leadenhall Street and the City of London.
During the visit, students had the unique opportunity to draw from high up in a skyscraper, sketch sculptures from direct observation, and design their own imaginative 3D artworks in a creative workshop at the Guildhall Gallery.
The highlight of the project will be the chance for one winning student’s sculpture design to be exhibited in the prestigious Guildhall Gallery over half term – a wonderful recognition of our students’ creativity and hard work.
