Sixth Form Theatre Club

Sixth Form Theatre Club has been on two trips to the Almeida Theatre so far this term. The revival of John Osborne’s Look Back in Anger in October proved so popular that we had to request extra tickets for Arnold Wesker’s Roots in November: it’s great to see such enthusiasm and commitment from students prepared to turn up on these dark autumnal evenings. We were rewarded with superlative acting by the likes of Billy Howle, Morfydd Clarke, Michael Abubakar and Ellora Torchia (from House of the Dragon). The next trip is to see Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, in January, which promises to be even better! Thanks must go to the staff who accompanied us: Mr Blackwell, Ms Mayon-White, and Mr Parkin, who came to both productions.
