Eco-poetry Workshop

On Monday 17 November, a group of Year 7 and 8 students went to the Barbican for an eco-poetry workshop. We had a tour of the conservatory and got to see the wide variety of plants growing there. Afterwards, two poets took us through the process of how to write poetry. The students wrote such impressive poems and were able to share them with each other. We hope to use the skills we learnt at the workshop for our poetry schemes of learning that we’ll do next term!
