Debate Mate
Published: Thu 30 April 2026On Thursday 5 March, eight of our fantastic Year 8 students took part in the UDL Round two at Skinners’ Academy as part of Debate Mate. We had some fierce competition in our debating sessions. Our students showed courage in debating against students much older than them. Topics of debate ranged from education to Stan culture. While the outcome wasn’t exactly what our teams wanted, they showed ability, maturity and sportsmanship.
