Soul Assembly
Published: Wed 15 October 2025Michael Mwenso visited Highbury Grove to deliver a special, scaled-down version of his brand-new workshop, Soul Assembly, delivered especially for our Year 10 Music students. Soul Assembly is where music meets conversation and community comes alive—an experience defined by electrifying spontaneity and soul-stirring connection. In this unique session, an international performer and cultural ambassador, Mwenso used his dynamic presence and deep mastery of African American music to offer our students rare insight and inspiration, leaving them energised and eager to create, question, and connect through their own musical journeys.
